Be prepared to see some utterly brillaint video games lying on the shelves of your local games shop this week. Wanna know more? Let’s take a look at this week’s game release list…

“Holy boring bricks, Batman! It’s another dull, unoriginal Lego-minded excuse for a platformer!!”
That’s right, after the debacle that was Lego Indiana Jones, now another succesful movie franchise gets the Lego-treatment. Lego Batman: The Video Game looks like it’s guaranteed for a few laughs…just don’t expect any groundbreaking platform action here.
On the other hand, if it’s original platform action you want, be sure to check out de Blob. You are a creature called de Blob and you’re on a quest to bring joy and fun to a town and it’s citizens by painting everything in whatever colours you choose. Think of it as a paintball version of Katamari. de Blob originally was developed by students at both the Utrecht School of Arts and the Utrecht University. Go check it out if you’re after something completely different!
