One of the most successful video game licenses ever has to be the Halo series. The first one - Halo: Combat Evolved - made an enormous impact when it was released for the Xbox roughly six years ago. Due to the immense succes of the original and its two followers, the Halo franchise keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Let’s take a look at a couple of the most interesting Halo-inspired things we’ve seen so far:

Nice looking Action figure. Cool!

Halo Graphic Novel. Very cool!

Halo Wars. A real-time strategy game designed exclusively for theXbox 360. Can’t wait for this one!

And finally….Halo shoes!?…hmmm, not so cool actually…

Now the latest type of merchandise we can expect is a board game.

In The Halo Interactive Strategy Game you are given the change to take control of either UNSC Marine or Covenant forces and go to battle against the other one. The action will take place on a 3D modular cardboard battlefield and according to developer B1 Games it will be possible to create all kinds of playing possibilities.

The Halo board game will feature all of the well-known characters from the Halo universe and comes included with an exclusive DVD starring exclusive and additional footage.

Expect The Halo Interactive Strategy Game to be available in September!
