Just a few minutes ago Comic Collector 4.1 was released. In this newest version of Comic Collector we improved the Add Comics Automatically screen. Right now it’s way easier to add new issues and update issues.
For a while we’re adding entries of all new comic issues to the database via the weekly comiclist. Now you can, via the new New Releases Tab, add all the newest entries from issues of your weekly pile of comics to your local database. And via the new Daily Updates Tab you can check what entries are updated so you can update your local entries.
Example: you add all new Marvel and DC entries to your local database the day you buy your pile of new Marvel and DC issues. Two days later you check the Daily Updates Tab, you see what entries are updated with a cover, creator data and character data and you update your local entries. So, now you no longer have to search or check for updates, because all updated stuff can be found in the New Releases Tab and the Daily Updates Tab.
And to make it even better: all database updates for your older issues can also be found in the Daily Updates Tab. So, now you will know when you can update data and covers for your older already cataloged issues.
New: New Releases Tab and Daily Updates Tab
Also really great is the new screen lay-out. You can choose from six different layout configurations! Examples:

Dissapointed on the image display for the comics, the display for the picture is smaller, one of the reasons I liked the larger pictures was to look at the image of all comics while reviewing or showing off my inventory.
Hi Jorge,
We haven’t changed image settings in the software or the templates/skins. So, I’m sure it’s about local settings. Please contact us at comic at collectorz dot com ! ![]()
