Now that May nearly has come to an end lets look at some of the popular games that will be released in the month of June.

June starts off with a bang with the long-awaited Ninja Gaiden II! Ryu Hayabusa is back to fight the Black Spider Ninja Clan in a new Third-Person Hack ‘n slash adventure for your Xbox 360. Expect non-stop high speed frantic action, plenty of gore, buckets of blood and an even more confusing story. I can’t wait to check this game out! So be sure to check your local gamestore. The US version will be releashed June 3, while the European version will hit the shelves three days later.

Ninja Gaiden II: Paint The Town Red

One of the most anticipated games must be Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, a PS3 exclusive stealth action extravaganza! The story takes place in the year 2014, the world is in a crisis and its Solid Snake’s job to fight his arch nemesis Liquid Ocelot once again. Expect MGS4 to end with a bang because it will be the last game in the popular series starring Solid Snake. But dont worry as it is certain that more Metal Gear games will follow. Phew, glad to hear that! Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will hit stores June 12.

Off to the Konami Retirement House for you Snake…

Another highly anticipated game to be released next month is the latest installment in the series that started the survival horror genre: Alone in the Dark. Edward Carnby is back to fight evil and this time the action takes place in Central Park, New York City where a dark secret is hidden. Gamers can expect a lot of interaction with the surroundings as there are several different ways to solve puzzles and to dispose of enemies. So expect a lot of freedom while you are trying to save the earth from those nasty demons once again. Alone in the Dark will be releashed for Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and PC on June 20. A PS3 version will be releashed later this year.
