It’t not really a suprise, I know! It’s all Marvel and DC. Perfectly balanced: 50% Marvel Series and 50% DC Series. In this Top 10 we find the two top X-Men series, both the Uncanny X-Men and X-Men (at #1 and #2 - they are also my favorites and the reason why I’m reading comics). And the Batman series, both Batman and Detective Comics. We also see Superman’s series Action Comics, but hey, we do not see Superman, Vol. 1 or Superman, Vol. 2. The Avengers and the Justice League (both including your favorite super-heroes!) both ‘tried’ to get in the Top 10 and they did it, at #9 and #10. Last year the Top 10 included Marvel’s Civil War and DC’s 52. Now we see DC’s Countdown to Final Crisis. And, off course, we got your favorite amazing webslinger in our Top 10! Both The Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 1 and The Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 2. Hmm…

The Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 1 is an older series, but it’s still in our Top 10? Why is this series in 2007’s Top 10? Well, this Comic Series Top 10 is based on the number of times data & covers of a series has been downloaded from our online comic database into our Comic Collector software. And people add data from older series all the time, specially from older Spider-Man volumes.

Oh, by the way, I was expecting the Fantastic Four in our Comic Top 10! Maybe next year?
