It’s o so time to reminisce when I look at my brand new calendar for 2008. Yes, I’m an old fashioned girl and still use a paper one. When I popped in the new & pristine leaves it got me thinking about the Most Memorable Music Moments of 2007. It’s time to publish The List!
Musicwise it’s fun to see what collectors add to their databases. When processing the submissions and daily updates, you’ll get a nice overview of what people listen to.
And what did they listen to? It surprised me to see really classic albums ending up so high in the 2007 Top 10. Classic rock seems to be very popular amongst you, only 3 2007 releases ended up in the top 10. And of those 3, 2 were from really old school rockers: Bruce Springsteen and Eagles. I can fairly say that every Music Collector user owns at least one album of The Beatles and several of Pink Floyd. Classic rock still rocks, even after all those years!
The number one album of 2007 is, you might have guessed it already, the Greatest Hits by Queen. It must be the Bohemian Rhapsody that does it, again and again. You just have to sing along with Freddie, even if you don’t know the lyrics exactly.
