A glimpse of 2008
Or.. Actually just a monthly update. Yes, at the end of each month the movies for the next month (the ones that will premiere in theaters) are added to our database, and so here it is. Not only do we have Cloverfield, but also the new Rambo movie. And I bet you didn’t know about… click that more button!

January 25! That’s when the new Rambo movie will premiere. Are you a fan? Are you looking forward to this? Well at least they have Sylvester doing Rambo again, instead of some random other actor (did you hear about the new Ace Ventura? In Ace Ventura 3 you will find no trace of Jim Carrey.. who’s going to watch that?). That’s not all though, Sly also directs writes and produces this one! I don’t know if that’s a good thing, but those are the facts. Also in this movie are Julie Benz (from “Dexter”) and Graham McTavish whom we know from “Rome”. Interested in this one? Not yet maybe? In Rambo (2008), John Rambo lives in Thailand. He leads an easy-going life in the mountains/jungles earning a living by fishing…

…and catching dangerous poisonous snakes he then sells.

Until… ofcourse, something happens. A group of missionaries finds John and asks him to lead them through the jungle to the refugee camps. They need to go through the jungle because the Burmese military has laid mines all along the road they normally travel over. Ofcourse John doesn’t want to participate, so he refuses. But the movie needs to get going, so he eventually accepts.

He takes the group and drops them off. After some days a pastor finds John, and tells him that the group did not return when they were supposed to. The embassies aren’t helping the pastor, and so he tries to get Rambo to help him. This is where things should be getting interesting.

The project by J.J. Abram. Cloverfield. Much hyped last summer, but now coming very close to a release date. Next month we can finally check this one out!

There is a party for Rob because he is leaving NYC. The whole movie is filmed with the camera from that party, so it starts with what is filmed at the party, and as the night progresses, something terrible happens. A monster attacks the city!

With the army fighting against the monster, the party-group tries to survive this night. There were some hints for what kind of monster it would be, and the producers told the world that it would not be a Godzilla remake or something.

I’m definitely going to check out that one! You?
