I had been using my own Access database and your product saves an immense amount of time with its pre-loaded information.
I'm in the process of entering my collection of appx. 50,000 comics into Comic Collector (about 3,000 loaded thus far). I have also bought the companion app for my iPhone, which I love!
I've been manually exporting to Excel and loading onto a PDA, but this is another immense time savings for me.

There was a web-site that "reviewed" three of the most popular comic collection software. They gave yours an overall 2.5 stars and Comic Base 4.5 stars.

Naturally, I downloaded the trial for the Comic Base. I used it for about 2 minutes and REMOVED the trial program from my computer. What a piece of s*~t! I guess the guy reviewing owns stock in Comic Base.

Maybe I didn't know how to use it but I approached both Comic Base and Collectorz the same; no idea how to use either and was completely impartial. Collectorz was a breeze to pick up and Comic Base could make a sober person drink themselves into debt.

Outstanding product... I'm having a blast. This is the first time in 25 years, that I can actually know (and find) what I have in my collection! I LOVE this program!

Your software is mind-blowing, it impressed me so much, I thought I'd take some time to compliment you on it. I have just become an avid comic book reader, and I'm absolutely loving it.

On the back cover of one of my books, I noticed an ad for a free comic book cataloging program. I found your site because I was looking for a comic database to sort my collection - currently around 8,700 - and ended up realising I needed the Music and Movie ones as well. I'd probably get the Books one as well but I've got so many DVDs to put in now that I've finally got round to properly starting on them, that I might not live long enough to get round to the books!!

Movie Collector has all the fields needed for Audio Adventures since they're basically films without pictures and, since I've now taken the program to the DVDs by putting that one on my laptop, is in the right place.

New Releases and Updates services are a brilliant addition which shows just how much you understand the people you're selling to. This will make it far easier to keep up to date because I don't have to take the comics to the computer or search every title individually.

Just had to tell you all a huge thanks. Back in October I had a major system crash. I was able to backup the information but it never occured to me to backup the thumbnails. Well, I took a seven month break cause couldnt face the idea of doing all that input again.

Well, today I decided to get on it. Using the faq's I was up and going withing 10min.

Reason for writing this. Thank you ever so much for this software. Replacing the cover pictures has been so easy. Its taken me about 2hrs to do over 1700 books.

Of course, it's true that I could've (and should've) cataloged my collection a long, long time, ago. But it's such a daunting task that I had a hard time getting motivated to tackle it.

Once I found Collectorz.com, I was actually ENTHUSED about entering my collection. Besides that, I actually get kinda giddy just looking at my collection catalog, now. So, for better or for worse, this really brings out the comic book geek in me. As far as I'm concerned, that's a good thing.

I have really enjoyed the program. It is by far the easiest comic database to use and quickly populate - I tried four different programs before deciding on Comic Collector. It has really helped me get my collection organized. I now know what I have (and what I am missing!).

The export to i-Pod feature is incredibly useful as well, since I can take a complete list of what I have and what I am looking for in a compact format instead of a big paper binder.

I'm at about 3400 comics and still have several boxes to go, but there is no way I could have done such a precise inventory without Comic Collector.

All fields are tallied when displayed, so you know exactly what is in your collection and in what issues. Program and data files are compact and fast.
