Synchronizing with Connect
Comic Collector Connect is our online software for publishing your Comic Collector database online. After uploading your database to Connect, you can access it from any computer and from any online mobile device and you can share your comic list with friends and family, by just emailing them a web-link.

Upload your collection to Comic Collector Connect
Like most things Collectorz.com, uploading your collection to Comic Collector Connect is also very easy.
- Start Comic Collector and click on "Connect > Synchronize"
- Comic Collector may ask you to link unlinked comics in your collection. Select "Yes" if it does. More about linking your comics here.
from the old linking topic:
Linking can be started by clicking: Connect > Link Comics*.A screen will open. This is the Link screen.
With the Link screen open, you will see all your unlinked comics. This screen looks a lot like the Add Automatically screen, and almost works the same. Here's a step by step:
- Your first comic is already being searched.
- Check the results and if you're happy, click Update (it's the button beneath the results)
- The next unlinked comic will be searched.
- Repeat from step 2.
Alternatively you can click on Search All. Especially if you have barcodes for all your comics, this can be very helpfull. Just wait until all unlinked comics have been searched and hit Update All.
Please note: The Search All option will not be able to find the exact match to the edition you own if you don't have a barcode filled out. It will find the title for your comic, though, just not the exact edition.
- The Synchronize Screen pops up. Fill in your Connect User Name and Password.
- Now click "Upload to Connect".
Now you have to tell Comic Collector which changes to your online account you'd like to process. The intended changes are shown in that screen, and automatically checked. If you see a change you don't want online, just uncheck the box.
- Green: Add. This comic will be added to your online collection.
- Orange: Change. This comic will be modified in your collection (because you apparently changed some data in your offline collection).
- Red: Remove. This comic will be removed from your online collection.
Don't want some of these changes happening to your online account? Simply uncheck the box in front of the change.
Click "Upload to Connect" to make the changes final on your online account.
