"Getting ready to go to Comic Con in San Diego. I just downloaded the I-pod comics app and it synced up perfectly with my desktop software. It did this over WiFi. Now I have my whole collection in my pocket and won't purchase any duplicate issues.

"I have been looking for a good database program for my comic collection for a few years now. There were not many options for Mac, and the one that looked the most promising, was much to expensive. There was Comic Collector from Collectorz, but it was only available for Windows. When Collectorz first announced they were working on a Mac version about a year ago, I was very excited.

Finally last week, they released version 1 for Mac. After a few hiccups with build 1 and 2, build 3 has finally got things working and I have started adding my collection into my database. From what I have seen so far, it is well worth the $30 I paid! Once I have added most of my comics to my database, and had some time to play with it more, I will probably be paying the extra for the Pro edition and also getting the iPhone edition so I can take my collection with me."

"I've been using Comic Collector since 2008 because my collection was getting unmanageable.
It's a fantastic tool and the upgrades have always added new and useful tools making the functionality better. I recently upgraded to Comic Collector Pro 5.0 and again I'm impressed by the improvements. I especially like the improved statistics section.

I have cataloged 1,000 comics in just over 6 hours! Now I am moving onto the bulk of my archived collection (almost 6,500 comics) and can't wait to get started.
The iTouch / iPhone app is awesome as well. I love being able to retrieve my collection info at a touch!

The Icing on the Cake
"I've been using Comic Collector for a few years now and think it's a terrific program.
I have over 8,000 comics/ trades/ hardcovers in my collection and it's the best way, hands down, for cataloguing a collection of that size.

I used to use a word document that I had to painstakingly update every week. With Comic Collector the inputting is so easy, and fun to do. The export to i-pod touch is just the icing on the cake.

Immense Time Savings
"I love Comic Collector Pro so far.
I had been using my own Access database and your product saves an immense amount of time with its pre-loaded information.
I'm in the process of entering my collection of appx. 50,000 comics into Comic Collector (about 3,000 loaded thus far). I have also bought the companion app for my iPhone, which I love!
I've been manually exporting to Excel and loading onto a PDA, but this is another immense time savings for me."

The right tool
"I bought the Comic book pro edition last night for my home laptop. I am so impressed with the software.
I have a sizable collection and have been looking for the right tool to catalogue it.
Not so much a fan of dry lists so being able to look at the covers and read the credits and synopsis is fantastic for me.

"There was a web-site that "reviewed" three of the most popular comic collection software. They gave yours an overall 2.5 stars and Comic Base 4.5 stars.

Naturally, I downloaded the trial for the Comic Base. I used it for about 2 minutes and REMOVED the trial program from my computer. What a piece of s*~t! I guess the guy reviewing owns stock in Comic Base.

Maybe I didn't know how to use it but I approached both Comic Base and Collectorz the same; no idea how to use either and was completely impartial. Collectorz was a breeze to pick up and Comic Base could make a sober person drink themselves into debt.

Outstanding product... I'm having a blast. This is the first time in 25 years, that I can actually know (and find) what I have in my collection! I LOVE this program!"

"Your software is mind-blowing, it impressed me so much, I thought I'd take some time to compliment you on it. I have just become an avid comic book reader, and I'm absolutely loving it.

On the back cover of one of my books, I noticed an ad for a free comic book cataloging program. I thought "this would be a perfect way to keep up with my collection, especially since I'm just starting out." Well I downloaded it, and TRIED to use it. It was absolutely terrible. Brilliant
"I found your site because I was looking for a comic database to sort my collection - currently around 8,700 - and ended up realising I needed the Music and Movie ones as well. I'd probably get the Books one as well but I've got so many DVDs to put in now that I've finally got round to properly starting on them, that I might not live long enough to get round to the books!!

Movie Collector has all the fields needed for Audio Adventures since they're basically films without pictures and, since I've now taken the program to the DVDs by putting that one on my laptop, is in the right place.

New Releases and Updates services are a brilliant addition which shows just how much you understand the people you're selling to. This will make it far easier to keep up to date because I don't have to take the comics to the computer or search every title individually. "

"I have really enjoyed the program. It is by far the easiest comic database to use and quickly populate - I tried four different programs before deciding on Comic Collector. It has really helped me get my collection organized. I now know what I have (and what I am missing!).

The export to i-Pod feature is incredibly useful as well, since I can take a complete list of what I have and what I am looking for in a compact format instead of a big paper binder.
