"I downloaded the trial, then purchased after 15 minutes of testing. This is fabulous software ! It solved a big problem: I have and elderly mom. We have been buying books for her to read and she now has hundreds she has gone through. We cannot remember what we have purchased or what she likes, so she used to put a post it note inside the cover for reference. This software solves all the problems. there is a reference column already set of any conceivable attribute of a book, and any note I might want to make. It is simple and it works beautifully. "I have trialled your book collector pkg for a day & purchased it a moment ago. After developing several of my own databases over a number of years, I got tired of s/w upgrade needs & my own changing needs in content. I have been looking for a robust, flexible package that does as much of the work for me as possible. As well, the look & feel needed to be what I wanted to view. "I want you to know I LOVE this program. I am currently a graduate student, studying to be an elementary teacher after 21 years in Law Enforcement. I recently took a child's literature class where the professor urged us to begin collecting books, at least 1,000 of them for our own classroom library. I was concerned about tracking them and keeping records on them. I started inputing the data on the books in the collectorz and found that I could put notes in any topics such as self-esteem, family, animals, etc. So when I need to find a book for a certain child's interest or need, I can do this with a simple search. I will also be able to successfully track my books as children "check them in and out." I have told my professor, the author of our text book, Elementary Children's Literature about this program."

"I just wanted to take a brief moment and thank you for producing Book Collector, a book lover's dream! Using your program, I have been able to quickly and easily catalog all of the important information concerning the hundreds of books I currently own. Not only that, but I also have been able to track books not yet published by favorite authors, and books on loan to my friends. I love the ability to sort on almost any field (author, title, genre), and the ability to sort on user defined fields (books I do not yet own). I love the ability to print lists of my books according to almost any criteria.

"I originally found Book Collector on Google when I was trying to find a product that would relieve me of some of the data entry involved in cataloguing by doing a lookup on ISBN - at the time, I wasn't even sure such a thing even existed, but since all the information IS online, and there's a ton of products that do the same sort of thing for CDs via CDDB, I thought there SHOULD be.
Book Collector showed up as one of the tiny handful of products that COULD do such a thing, but none of them were free (the other hope I'd had ;-) ). I looked over the website and bookmarked it for later consideration. In the meantime, a friend was also trying to find software for me, and Book Collector came up for him on an online search; he emailed saying that even though it wasn't free, it looked so impressive that he thought I should at least give it a try.
So I downloaded it and tried it, and of course, had my credit card handy long before I'd hit the evaluation version's limit. I can't praise you enough for what a beautiful job you've done on this software - it's absolutely marvellous, and I already have at least one friend (potentially more) talked into purchasing it for themselves.
