Synchronize with Connect
Book Collector Connect is our online software for publishing your Book Collector database online. After uploading your database to Connect, you can access it from any computer and from any online mobile device and you can share your book list with friends and family, by just emailing them a web-link.

Upload your collection to Book Collector Connect
Like most things Collectorz.com, uploading your collection to Book Collector Connect is also very easy.
- Start Book Collector and click: Connect > Synchronize from the main menu.
- Enter your Connect user name and password.
- Click 'Upload to Connect' to begin Synchronizing your Collection.
A list will now appear showing all additions to your collection. The first time you sync, everything will appear in green. In future if you upload you will notice that changes appear in yellow, and removals in red. As you can see below a summary is provided on the right hand side. Click 'upload to Connect' to complete the process.

Uploading Images
After the books have been uploaded, book Collector will try to upload cover images for your titles. The images are restricted to 500kb in size, if your images are larger than this, they won't be uploaded.
Download your collection from Book Collector Connect
Downloading your collection back from Connect works almost the same as uploading to Connect.
- Click Connect > Synchronize from the main menu.
- Book Collector PRO may ask you to link unlinked books in your collection. Select "Yes" if it does. More about linking your books here.
- The Synchronize Screen pops up. Fill in your Connect User Name and Password.
- Now click "Download from Connect".
Now you have to tell Book Collector Pro which changes to your local software database (the one on your computer) you'd like to process. The intended changes are shown in that screen, and automatically checked.
- Green: Add. This book will be added to your local database on your PC.
- Orange: Change. This book will be changed in your collection (because you apparently changed some data in your online collection).
- Red: Remove. This book will be removed from your local database on your PC.
Don't want some of these changes happening to your local database? Simply uncheck the box in front of the change.
Click "Download from Connect" to make the changes final on your online account.
