Hi, I am Robbert. I was born in 1968, so that makes me... euh... 41 already!! I live in Zaandam with my girlfriend and little daughter. That is near to Amsterdam where I lived most of the time of my life. I studied mathematics in Amsterdam with a lot of computer science on the side. I have seen lots of machines and operating systems: C64, Mac OS (from 6.5 to X), MSDos 3/4/5, Minix, Linux, MVS, OS400 and that other one from Redmond ;-)

I have been working as a developer (C, C++, ASP.NET, PHP, XHTML, CSS, Javascript) for IBM and Lost Boys before. At Collectorz.com I am working on the web development stuff.

Music, Photography and Guitars

My biggest hobby is music: listening and playing. I play guitar, well, not really in a band, more on the couch :-) I listen to al sort of music, from Slipknot to Tori Amos, from Nick Cave to Paul Gilbert.

I also take photographs, especially of people. My favorite photographers are Richard Avedon, Anton Corbijn and Nick Knight. Not that I come any near them, but they give me inspiration to go on... and on... and on.
