My name is Martin! I'm 29 years old. Born and Raised in Haarlem, a small town close to Amsterdam. Every weekend I take care of my beautiful daughter Melody and I really love spending time with her. I'm also a DJ in our local metal bar "The Pubcrawler" and in one of Hollands finest venues "The Patronaat". Other hobbies are listening to lotssssssss of music, watching 80's sword & sorcery, horror and sci-fi B-movies. Reading and drinking beer :-) And spending lots of time on Myspace in search of new bands and music. Feel free to take a look at my Myspace profile.
Music and Movies
The biggest passion in my life is music. I love spending time in my music room where I listen to all kinds of music. From Reggae to Dark Electronic music, Classical to Alternative Pop... but my favorite style is METAL!!!!!!!!!! especially 80's Technical Thrash metal. I'm really proud of my music collection, I think I own at least 7000 Albums now. I'm not really sure, but I'll know soon because I'm making my own database with Music Collector on this moment (I give you the exact stats soon). I have a strange taste in movies, I really like 80's and 70's B-movies, Martial Arts and Horror. And the most movies I own are in this genre. No special effects for me!! And I watch a lot of Disney and Ghibli movies with my daughter.

I used to work at Hollands number one record store Boudisque in Amsterdam, but after almost 40 years downloading and a sky high rent made an end to it all :-( So, I had to look for a new job, I searched the internet and ran into a job advertisement for Content Manager music for Collectorz.com and I knew it was the right job for me! The most important thing for me is to work with music and stay in touch with the people who collect it. so here I am :-) Here at the Collectorz.com office I'm in charge of the Music Collector database. How strange things can go! I finished school for Flower Arranger, worked in a record store and now I can get in contact with all kinds of music collectorz world-wide and take a look and work with all their wonderful submitted collections. I'm really pleased with my job here at the office, here I can combine my work with my biggest hobby: collecting music.
